About Buffalo Creek Farms

Established in 1894 by Dennis Lilienthal’s great-great-grandfather, Buffalo Creek Farms has been a cornerstone of agricultural heritage in Minnesota for over a century. Passed down through generations, the farm remains a family-owned and operated enterprise dedicated to raising top-quality livestock and preserving a proud farming legacy.

Today, Dennis and his wife Roberta Lilienthal continue the tradition with unwavering commitment, blending time-honored practices with modern breeding techniques. Their passion for agriculture and livestock runs deep, reflecting in every aspect of the farm’s operation.

The next generation is already making its mark. Their four sons—Colton, Devin, Kaden, and Rogan—have all been involved in the farm, with their youngest, Rogan, serving as a partner in Buffalo Creek Cattle, actively managing the farm alongside his parents. Together, they focus on producing exceptional cattle known for their superior genetics, sound structure, and strong performance both in the pasture and the show ring.

With roots firmly planted in family values, hard work, and agricultural excellence, Buffalo Creek Farms continues to thrive—honoring its storied past while building a promising future.
